Welcome!
Our mutual aid network is a loosely organized, nonpartisan, non-denominational, nonprofit, diverse group of wholehearted residents of the San Jacinto Mountains working together to share timely and tangible assistance with our neighbors impacted by the COVID-19 virus and its economic consequences.
Whatever you need, whatever you can offer, we invite you to join us. Mutual aid provides an alternative to the world’s dominant economy of exchange, in which every transaction must be measured and we are forever caught up in keeping score.
In contrast, you might think of this little adventure as a “gift economy.” Bring your requests. Offer your gifts. Let’s see what happens.
